Page 2 of 2 Request for Information-Sources Sought Notice 36C24919Q0459 This is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing shelter environmental control center 20' X 32.5' Medical Shelter Systems: - Includes shelter transport/storage container - Environmental control unit, 5-5on capacity us (1) interior shelter electrical distribution system 60 HZ - Negative pressure isolation (NPI) system - 24 Station morgue package - Set of rigid sub-flooring set for 20' x 32.5' shelter - 7' x 6.5' Vestibule entry with bump-thru door This requirement is for the Memphis VA Medical Center. This RFI does not guarantee the issuance of an RFQ. If you have the availability to provide the requirement, please respond to this RFI with a capabilities statement. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Requirement Authorized employees of the Memphis VAMC in Memphis TN. requires a contract to provide a portable Morgue in support of the emergency preparedness plan. Contractor shall possess a Radioactive Material (RAM) License issued by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or an Agreement State for medical product distribution as identified under 10 CFR Part 32.72 Manufacture, preparation, or transfer for commercial distribution of radioactive drugs containing byproduct material for use under 10 CFR Part 35. The Contractor will be able provide specs. upon request of quote. Unit must be at a minimum of: Size: 20' wide x 32.5' long x 10 high (Quonset shape). Shelter is an aluminum frame, free-span type tent. No poles in the center of tent. Shelter frame is powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance in salt water or other corrosive type environments. Cover and end panels are made from 15oz Mil-Spec vinyl. The vinyl floor system has a 6 lip that attaches and seals to the cover and end walls to prevent the intrusion of dust, insects, water, etc. from entering the shelter. Shelter must be able to withstand a 15-lb per square foot snow load. Shelter must be able to withstand a sustained wind load of 80 MPH with 100 MPH gusts. Shelter must be able to withstand 4 of rain per hour with 60 MPH sustained wind speed with 75 MPH gusts. Please acknowledge if your company can provide the products as described in this notice.
