The Contractor shall provide all the labor and expert supervision required to clean, disinfect, and maintain the designated buildings and structures at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center (RRVAMC) campus on 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The sanitation standards are to be maintained in accordance with Environmental Management Service (EMS) cleaning standard, infection disease program. This includes buildings 1, 3 (Second Floor, Administrative Offices ONLY), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 19, 21(Chiller plant-ONLY clean room# 101), T20, T22, T27, including the immediate entry ways and stairwells in listed buildings. The RRVAMC will provide all hospital-grade, EPA registered cleaning and disinfecting chemicals, equipment, supplies, and consumables. The Contractor shall not use any other products in their performance of their work. RRVAMC will provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); the contractor shall comply with the SDS and don and doff the PPE as prescribed. Work is to be accomplished during the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The VA is contemplating a base year with 4 option years. Services are expected to begin on March 1, 2020. The anticipated contract type will be a firm fixed-price. The solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities website on or about December 13, 2019. This date is subject to change. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.SAM.gov) when proposals are received and for the awardee at time of award to be eligible for award of a contract.
