Description of Services: Pre-solicitation Synopsis - The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and incidentals to furnish 24-hour Taxi-cab service to the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Robley Rex Medical Center, 800 Zorn Ave., Louisville, KY 40206. This is a door to door service for ambulatory or non-ambulatory patients who do not have alternative methods of returning home upon discharge from the VAMC when all other options have been exhausted. Services are to be provided in the Kentucky and Indiana areas. The Louisville VAMC is contemplating an IDIQ contract with 5 Ordering Periods (10/01/2019 09/30/2024) . Services will begin on or about October 01, 2019. This procurement will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. NAICS code: 485310 and sized standard is $16.5M. Respondent claiming Veteran status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. All vendors must be registered in System for ward Management database (www.SAM.gov) to be eligible for award of this contract. The anticipated contract type will be an IDIQ, Firm Fixed-Price.
