The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Alcon Vision, LLC of Fort Worth, TX to provide service plan coverage for Constellation LXT and nGenuity, healthcare equipment at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Bay Pines, FL. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with a Base Year and 4 one-year option period of performance. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00. This action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102(a), only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is available to meet its requirements due to the unique, specialized, and proprietary nature of the required services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only source available that can provide the service plan coverage for Constellation LXT and nGenuity, healthcare equipment. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Â This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, Alcon distribution authority letter and references from other customers who are using products and services to provide system coverage for Constellation LXT and nGenuity healthcare equipment, to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement, show experience providing system coverage for Constellation LXT and nGenuity healthcare equipment.
