The VA is seeking commercial preventive maintenance and software support for the existing TransLogic/Swisslog pneumatic tube system at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida. The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole-source basis to TransLogic Corporation, a Swisslog Healthcare company, as the only responsible source capable of providing the complete requirement. The period of performance is 09/30/2026 through 09/29/2027, with four 12-month option periods. Interested sources must demonstrate the capability and authorization to perform complete preventive maintenance and required software maintenance and support for the existing system.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to TransLogic Corporation (a Swisslog Healthcare company) for preventive maintenance and software support of the existing TransLogic/Swisslog pneumatic tube system at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida. The contract is anticipated to consist of a 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with an anticipated award/effective date of September 30, 2026. The Government has determined TransLogic is the only responsible source because the Bay Pines system uses TransLogic-specific hardware, controls, and proprietary Nexus™ System Control Software, and only TransLogic authorized personnel are permitted to service, install, or upgrade the system.
