The government intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Charter Communications to provide HD television and dedicated internet services across multiple facilities within the Orlando VA Healthcare System, with Orlando VAMC at Lake Nona serving as the main hub. The service will also provide Veteran Guest Internet Access for all facilities in the Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN 8). The contract is contemplated as a Base period plus four option periods. Services will be performed at numerous specified facilities in Orlando, Daytona Beach, Viera, Kissimmee, Deltona, Clermont, Port Orange, and Palm Bay, Florida. The contractor must provide 24/7 network operations with specific response times for service interruptions.
