5820--Vocera Smart badges
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Alvarez LLC for the procurement of Vocera Smart Badges as an upgrade to the existing system at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. This is a brand-name-only requirement, justified as significantly more cost-effective than a full system replacement. The procurement will be conducted under the NASA SEWP GWAC, with Alvarez LLC identified as the exclusive authorized SDVOSB distributor for these badges. This is not a competitive solicitation, and the VA will not be accepting proposals for this specific requirement. However, interested vendors may submit capability statements for future consideration.
