Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 PROJECT TITLE: Design Build (DB) Correct Building 100 Sprinkler Deficiencies, Project No. 516-25-608 CONTRACT TYPE: Design Build (DB), Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary for the following work: Design-Build project to replace all sprinkler heads that are not quick response-type in building 100 with quick response type of head that meets all current requirements per NFPA codes and VA Directives. This work will resolve FCA item 307718. The project covers ALL areas of Building 100 that have not been previously renovated. This project will also provide updated hydraulic calculations, fire sprinkler drawings with riser/valve/zone locations that accurately depict sprinkler head locations throughout building 100. Project is located at the C.W. Bill Young Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744. (This solicitation replaces cancelled solicitation 36C24825R0060.)
