Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO8) has a requirement for construction services for project titled Upgrade UPS System at Telecommunication Room. Project Number 672-20-601. This project will upgrade the UPS backup system located at the Telecommunication Room A-20. The room will be expanded in order to comply with OIT Design Guide. In addition, this project requires the installation of new electrical feeders to match the required equipment power capacity, electrical/mechanical/fire protection upgrades, new lighting fixtures, acoustical ceiling/vinyl floor, interior walls finishes, including sealing penetrations and holes. The project also includes additional cooling, asbestos removal, and fire suppression systems will be extended to serve and protect the new equipment and the existing obsolete equipment disposition. Contractor period of performance shall be 730 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204. The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about June 9, 2025. All information for this solicitation will be posted at SAM.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management SAM.GOV and must be certified SDVOSB and certified in SBA Dynamic Small Business Search (https://dsbs.sba.gov/search/dsp_dsbs.cfm) before the solicitation due date.
