This is a construction project for the upgrade to the existing Operating Room (OR) Suite which shall be required to adhere to the fire code compliance at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Miami, Florida. The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the designed specifications and drawings provided. The construction of the project entails demolition and preparation of the area, new structural and architectural adherence, installation of doors and hardware, active fire protection, plumbing, heating-ventilation-and-air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, fire alarm devices, and finishes. Design Specifications and drawings have been prepared by an Architect & Engineering (A&E) firm to deliver the requested upgrade for project 546-22-143, Upgrade Existing OR Suite for Fire Compliance.
