Janitorial Services at VACHS and MOPC (36C24825R0040) The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional information regarding the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and provide follow-up in regards to a previous question related to the employee roster of the incumbent Contractor. Even though there are two CBA numbers in SAM (2023-443 and 2023-444), they both refer to the same CBA. There is only one CBA. However, it has two different numbers because when such numbers were created in SAM, one was created for each municipality: 2023-443 for San Juan, and 2023-444 for Mayaguez. Furthermore, an employee roster of the incumbent Contractor will be provided in the event of a successive Contractor no later than 10 days before contract completion of the current contract (see FAR 22.1020). The proposal submission deadline remains June 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST).

This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor shall the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 has a requirement for Healthcare Aseptic Cleaning Services at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System, in Puerto Rico. The following facilities/buildings within the VACHS are included: VA Main Tower (Building No. 1) in San Juan, which includes Intensive Care Units (ICU's) VA Community Living Center (CLC) (Building No. 10) VA Outpatient Additional (OPA) (Building No. 19) VA South Bed Tower (SBT) Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic (MOPC) Total estimated square footage is 814,046 ft2. The procurement is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 561720 with a size standard of $22 million. Any resultant contract will be effective for one (1) twelve-month Base Period, and four (4) twelve-month Option Periods which may be exercised at the Government s discretion. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, clauses, and provisions, as will be stated in the eventual solicitation. The tentative issue date for the actual solicitation is fifteen (15) days from this posting. Proposals will be due no less than thirty (30) days after the issuance of any solicitation. Additionally, the tentative start date for the contract resulting of such solicitation is October 1, 2025. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
