This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) has a requirement to repurpose approximately 2,000 sq ft of space to accommodate the new Hybrid Operating Room (HOR). function suite over the 1st floor of Main Building at VA Caribbean Healthcare System at San Juan, PR. The Contractor should provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and construction services necessary, to successfully complete this project. The renovation includes the re-distribution of spaces of a new Hybrid OR Suite, and a complete upgrade of all utilities (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, data, nurse call, medical gases etc.) among others. The period of performance is 500 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The services for this project will include providing all construction related services such as: providing labor, materials and equipment required to complete the project as per contract documents prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm. The magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 04/15/2025. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at www.sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV). Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, offerors must be listed in the SBA Veteran Certification site https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ as verified SDVOSB.
