The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827, seeks interested vendors to provide an all-inclusive service and maintenance contract for Sterrad sterilization equipment for the Orlando VA Healthcare System. Services will include full coverage all personnel, parts & labor, transportation, tools, and other items and non-personal services necessary. The service is to take place within the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS), Lake Nona Medical Center and Lake Baldwin Medical Center. The Sterrad equipment is used sterilize surgical instruments such as rigid and flexible endoscopes and is located within the Sterile Processing Service. The uptime of the equipment is necessary to ensure clinical operations are not impact and to prevent patient cancellations. Disruption in equipment uptime will negatively impact scheduled veteran patient surgical operations and procedures.
