Haley VA Medical Center is currently seeking information from any Service Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB) vendors to provide linen laundry and janitorial services for Fisher House 1 and Fisher House 2. Contractors shall provide all personnel equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training, and transportation to perform requirement. All work under this contract must be performed in accordance with the current industry standards as established by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of the Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Hazardous Materials requirements, and regulations. Industry standards for cleanliness, safety, sanitation and serviceability must be met in a manner to meet generally accepted commercial practices. Contractor shall provide all personnel equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform Janitorial services and Linen Laundry. The Contractor shall be responsible for laundering and processing all linens, which shall include bath towels, washcloths, shower curtains, sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, pillow shams, blankets, comforters, mattress pads, and pillows. Typical work shall include, but not be limited to vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, window cleaning, dusting, and changing light bulbs.
