The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Integra Life Sciences Corp of Princeston, NJ to provide system coverage for (1) Acclarent TruDi Navigation System in support of the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with a 5-year period of performance. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1, only one responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to provide system coverage for Acclarent TruDi Navigation System to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement, show experience providing system coverage for Acclarent TruDi Navigation System. Information must be sent to the Kurt Kramer, Contracting Officer at Kurt.Kramer@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Integra Life Sciences Corp.
