Downs, Tampa, FL. 33612 is issuing a sources sought notice to conduct market research to identify parties interested in and the resources to support this brand-name-only requirement for Mimics 3D printing software, licensed by Materialise. Providers will use this software to teach radiology professionals to segment various anatomical structures. Additionally, this software will continue to be used for presurgical planning and Veteran education before procedures or surgical interventions. Must be able to transmit designs to existing Form Labs 23D printers (product code F2) for printing. Allow for the creation and development of stereolithography (STL) files, which can then be uploaded to the existing equipment, Form Labs 23D printer, which currently resides at the hospital, for final printing. Integrates digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) data from medical imaging (computed tomography medical image (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data) and allows for data conversion of DICOM into the STL file. SOFTWARE LICENSE: The Contractor provides software perpetual, unlimited license subscription. A perpetual license means the VA owns the license. This software is to be installed on a dedicated single laptop owned by the VA, a 17 Dell laptop, Windows 10, Inspiron 7000, and will not be used on the VA network. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated to deliver technical capability, organizations should address such arrangements' administrative and management structures. An authorization letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is required and must be submitted with all other supporting documents.
