Haley Veterans Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, requires two (2) Power Assisted Liposuction Systems. 2. BACKGROUND: The Plastics Department at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital seeks to upgrade its current liposuction system, the Hercules system, which is limited for certain Veterans, particularly those with conditions such as Fibrosis, Buffalo Hump, and Gynecomastia. 3. PURPOSE: The request for a new Liposuction Systems will enhance fat grafting capabilities by allowing for efficient aspiration and injection of fat. The new system should minimize scarring during procedures for conditions like Buffalo Hump and reduces the need for extensive tissue resection in gynecomastia cases, thereby preventing tissue irregularities that require corrective fat grafting. 4. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide the following deliverables for a brand name or equal procurement. The basis of the design for this requirement is the Power Assisted Liposuction System.
