SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is issuing this notice as a means of conducting market research to identify establishments primarily engaged in providing building inspection services. The Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida is seeking a one-time service to conduct a condition assessment of its two (2) parking garages, each consisting of eight (8) levels. The contractor shall complete (structural) inspection of the parking garages and provide a written report. The report will detail the findings along with recommendations for remediation, a plan for maintenance & repair strategies, and an estimated cost range for the required fixes. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541350 Building Inspection Services. The size standard is $11,500,000.00. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.
