Quote/Offer due date is hereby extended until Thursday February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM AST (San Juan, Puerto Rico Local Time) All other areas of solicitation remain unchanged. Response to Vendor Questions and Request for Information Question No. 1 The PWS states the following: 3.10 Hours of operation 3.10.1 All work shall be coordinated with the Point of Contact (POC) and be completed on Saturday (TBD) between 8:00 a.m. until completion. Is the performance required to be performed on one Saturday for all locations or is it flexible? i.e can we do it on another day than Saturday or can we split it up into two days? Answers: No, we cannot split the performance required. It is required to be performed on one Saturday for all locations in February. Question No.2 Do you have prior pricing for this effort? Answer: This is a performance-based requirement, contractor shall present their best solution and quote using the information provided within the solicitation based on their expertise and industry practices. Prior acquisition and similar acquisitions information is publicly available on Federal  Procurement Data System (FPDS) at www.fpds.gov and/or US Spending at www.USASpending.gov Current contract information may be requested and disclosed under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in accordance with 38 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1.553(b). Page 5 of 5 INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 San Juan, Puerto Rico is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement to perform Pharmacy wall to wall inventory Services located at (VA) Caribbean Healthcare Systems (VACHS) Puerto Rico. The intent of this notice is to identify interested sources and their respective socio-economic group. Responses to this sources-sought notice/market research may be used to issue the requirement as set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. However, the primary purpose of this notice is to identify potential Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) companies that can fulfill this requirement. ELIGIBILITY The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561990Â (All Other Support Services) with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. CONTRACTOR S QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall provide the necessary personnel and equipment for the job to be performed. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall provide evidence with the Puerto Rico Department of Health Registration. Contractor shall conduct a Wall-to-Wall inventory utilizing a barcode readers technology capturing the NDC/UPC of each item, the number of pieces and price contracted/open market and should be rounded to the nearest 10th. Contractor shall provide the handheld scanners needed to perform the inventory. Contractor shall be capturing the barcodes use for the UPDC or NDC on the merchandise. Contractor shall be capturing or entry the prime vendor (McKesson Corp.) price of the merchandise. Contractor shall be capturing or entry the number of pieces of the items (if the product is open, the quantity should be estimated to the nearest 10th of a bottle). Contractor shall send by e-mail an excel report with the information collected. If you will be subcontracting, please indicate which company(ies) are you contemplating. In addition, if subcontracting, what percentage of the job will be performed by the subcontractor(s). Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar performances which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact. Contractors should provide their size status for the above references NAICS code. (i.e. small, large) and whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), women-owned concern and /or SB. Standard company brochures will not be considered enough response to this Source Sought. Do you plan on responding to a solicitation for this requirement with a Joint Venture utilizing multiple owned companies as majority or non-majority owner? Yes ___No ___ If yes, please identify which companies are considering a Joint Venture and the ownership of each company. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services that are registered under the same or a related NAICS code with the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE); Provide the certification type (SDVOSB/VOSB), Federal Identification Number, and state of incorporation for each. It is anticipated that the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with a base period and four option periods of twelve (12) months each.
