It is neither a solicitation nor a request for a quote or invitation for bid and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes only and to make appropriate acquisition decisions to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541690 - Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services with a size standard of $19.0 million dollars. The Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8), VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) is seeking a qualified business to provide Respirator Fit Testing and Training Services across multiple locations in Puerto Rico, including San Juan, Utuado, Comerio, Arecibo, Guayama, Ceiba, and Vieques, as well as in the U.S. Virgin Islands, specifically Saint Croix and Saint Thomas. The selected provider must demonstrate the capability to deliver comprehensive services such as quantitative and qualitative fit testing, training on respirator selection and maintenance, hazard assessments, and compliance with OSHA standards. Additionally, the provider should have qualified staff and appropriate equipment to conduct both on-site and off-site training in English and Spanish, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all specified municipalities.
