Description Sources Sought RFI # 36C24825Q0113 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal or quotes and does not obligate the Government toward a contract. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification to include LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING: (Service Disabled owned, Veteran owned small business, Hub Zone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, women owned, small) relative to 561990 All Other Support Services (business size standard $16.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in Beta.SAM.gov, also known as Contract Opportunities. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are NOT considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in order to be considered. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) and Brooksville CBOC, is seeking sources to provide Maintenance, Inspection, and Testing of Portable Fire extinguishers. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary (labor, materials, equipment, tools, carts, and other items) to accomplish the tasks The vendor must ensure all service technicians that clean, maintain, test, and inspect equipment at any listed location be competent, certified, and licensed to perform the services in accordance with the manufacturers established operating standards, applicable to NFPA 10 code requirements in a manner that will ensure serviceability and prevent deterioration in value or effectiveness. Monthly inspections shall be accomplished for all extinguishers located throughout the JAHVH campus within the month due. Annual inspection and equipment maintenance shall be accomplished for all extinguishers located throughout the JAHVH and Brooksville campuses within the calendar year they are due. If you are interested, and can provide the required services, please provide the requested information as indicated below.
