Haley VA Hospital, ... THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT August 15, 2024. D/B Upgrade Central Energy Plant Chillers Phase 1, Project 673-24-113, James A. Haley VA Hospital, Tampa, FL 33612, RFP # 36C24824R0162. The Design Build contract shall extend the useful life of four chillers in the Central Energy Plant (CEP), located in Building 39 at the James A. Haley VA Hospital, as required by the drawings and specifications included in this acquisition package. (See Attached SOW and documents) The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $19M. The VAAR 836.204 magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. All businesses desiring to be considered, must be registered with SAM.gov prior to contract award, during contract period of performance, and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment. Business size and NAICS will be verified at Veteran Small Business Certification (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov). The Contracting Officer for this project will be Amy Shaw.
