Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has identi... STATEMENT OF NEED Zyris Isolite Pro Dental Isolation System GENERAL: The Dental Service at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, situated at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has identified the necessity of procuring the enhanced Zyris Isolite Pro Dental Isolation Evacuation System, an advancement from the previous version previously utilized. BACKGROUND: The Dental Service has previously utilized an earlier version of this product. However, due to product enhancements and modifications by the manufacturer, the older versions are no longer available for procurement. SCOPE: This is a name-brand-only requirement. The Zyris Isolite Pro system offers a comprehensive solution, providing isolation, illumination, retraction, suction, and patient safety concurrently. This system enhances operational efficiency, expands the workspace for the operator, and significantly improves patient comfort and safety. ESTIMATED QUANTITIES: 32 Complete systems. SPECIFIC NEED/ SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS The Zyris Isolite system provides multiple features which can enhance restorative procedures by easy placement and easy removal. Attaches directly to dental patient chairs. The system supports both anterior and posterior mouthpieces. Provides isolation and provides for patient safety: Retracts tongue. Retracts cheek. Provides airway protection. Delivers effective dual suction. Provides mouth prop to prevent patient jaw fatigue. Provides light source. 3 levels of bright white and safe-cure light amber light (necessary when restoring teeth with composite resins). Components requiring sterilization have been reviewed by SPS and approved for care: Intra-oral component is sterile. Intra-oral component is disposable. Enables Dental Hygienists and Dentists to practice more safely by reducing Aerosolized Particulates during patient treatment. PERFORMANCE MONITORING: The current providers in the Dental Clinic are well-versed with the system s placement and usage. The products will be stored securely and safely when not in use. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital s Primary Care Annex Dental Clinic, located at 13515 Lake Terrace Lane, Tampa, FL 33637. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: All items shall be delivered within 30 days after receipt of the order (ARO). The government does not require installation or training for this requirement. WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: 1.) James A. Haley requests a standard manufacturer's warranty for the Zyris Isolite Pro system.
