The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), Tampa, FL, issued a Task Order Award no. 36C24824F0019, ScriptPro USA, Inc., for in support of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) at 13,000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa Bay, Florida 33612. This procurement is a sole source award to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), as ScriptPro USA, Inc. owns the proprietary software and is the only preventative maintenance/support provider for ScriptPro products/equipment. The scope of this procurement for JAHVH is to provide ScriptPro Equipment Support Maintenance for the ScriptPro Pharmacy Equipment the JAHVH currently owns. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools, and parts necessary to provide a full-service maintenance contract including preventive maintenance, certification, repair, technical telephone support, and software enhancements for the ScriptPro Equipment located at JAHVH (Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy), New Port Richey CBOC and South Hillsborough CBOC. The Service Agreement will ensure that critical equipment is operating properly, in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer s specifications and operating efficiency. The response time and turnaround time are important for this equipment, as any downtime would have an adverse impact on patient care and/or procedures. In-house staff does not have the training, specialized software, test equipment and parts required to perform this critical level of service. ScriptPro USA, Inc. is the OEM service provider to perform the necessary maintenance on the highly specialized ScriptPro Equipment the Federal Government currently owns. No other vendor is capable to provide these PM services. The period of performance (POP) will be for 12-months beginning on 10/1/2023 through 9/30/2024. The type of contract is a Fixed Price. This Justification for award is posted in accordance with FAR 6.305 to the Business Opportunities website (https://www.sam.gov) on October 1, 2023. The NAICS Code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, small business size standard $34 Million. The Contract award has determined to be fair and reasonable price.
