General Description: The primary objective of this procurement is to replace the existing windows with anti-ligature, hurricane resistant windows at the patios at the east and west wings of the mental health ward, 5th floor at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical System (VAMC) in Gainesville, FL. The successful offeror will remove existing windows, repair any minor wall damages (corridor, patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse station area, offices, etc.) in walls prior to completing the finishes, keep existing window screens in place, and install new windows. The Contractor will provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, and certain other items as described in the statement of work. The magnitude of construction is: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about June 29, 2023. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.GOV website at www.sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV).
