General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO8) has a requirement for construction services for project titled Provide Emergency Backup to Stand by Power for Motor Control Center at Chiller Plant. This project includes the construction of an enclosure next to the generator 14, the installation of two Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) with closed transition capability, Main breakers, feeders installation, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) monitoring capability connected to the existing System at the facility and other equipment as required on the construction drawings and specifications. Contractor period of performance shall be 730 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204(e). The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about May 29, 2023. The site visit is tentative scheduled for June 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM (EST). See solicitation for details and date confirmation. All information for this solicitation will be posted at GPE at SAM.GOV. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management SAM.GOV and must be certified SDVOSB and verified in SBA s VetCert program database (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/) before the solicitation due date.
