General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, Lake City VAMC intends to issue a Construction Services project. This project consists of demolition and replacement of electrical switchgears, transformers, generators, automatic transfer switches and installation of National Electrical Code (NEC) required three emergency circuits (Life Safety, Equipment and Critical) at the Lake City VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL. Contractor period of performance shall be 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 (g). The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about May 23, 2023. The site visit is tentative scheduled for June 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM (EST). See solicitation for details. All information for this solicitation will be posted at GPE at SAM.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management SAM.GOV and must be certified SDVOSB and verified in SBA s VetCert program database (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/) before the solicitation due date.
