IMPORTANT NOTE: This solicitation is being issued as a tiered evaluation for SDVOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a tiered evaluation for VOSB concerns, with SDVOSB concerns having priority. If award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled and the requirements resolicited. AMENDMENT ONE: Site Visit scheduled for 1/31 at 10:00 am EST AMENDMENT TWO: Solicitation is extended for Phase 1 to 02/24/2023 at 12:00 PM EST. A second site visit will be scheduled for Phase 1 and the date will be posted here once known. AMENDMENT THREE: Amendment 3 has the new site visit and RFI dates for Phase 1. Phase 1 has been extended to March 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST. PROJECT SUMMARY: The lab located in 4A-304 is not properly venting fumes and potentially harmful vapors remain in the occupied space. There are a series of vent ducts stubbed through the ceiling. The ducts are connected together in the false ceiling space then tie into an exhaust duct in the interstitial floor above. New lab equipment needs to be connected to the system. A new system needs to be designed for all current lab equipment with capability for future expansion and installed. The new system shall be as energy efficient as possible while not reducing the effectiveness of the required design.
