General Description: The primary objective of this procurement is to provide design and construction services to upgrade a complete elevator system at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical System (VAMC) in Gainesville, FL. The successful offeror will evaluate the existing elevators, shafts, carriages, wire ropes, tracking components, carriage doors, landing doors, call controls, integrated systems, building automation and other pertinent components of A, B, C and Service elevators. The Contractor will provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, and certain other items as described in the statement of work. The magnitude of construction is: Between $2,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about December 5, 2022.
