PROJECT TITLE: Design Build (DB) Upgrade Exhaust System Fume Hood 3A304, PROJ 548-23-102 CONTRACT TYPE: Design Build (DB), Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials and design build services necessary for the following work: The lab located in 4A-304 is not properly venting fumes and potentially harmful vapors remain in the occupied space. There are a series of vent ducts stubbed through the ceiling. The ducts are connected together in the false ceiling space then tie into an exhaust duct in the interstitial floor above. New lab equipment needs to be connected to the system. A new system needs to be designed for all current lab equipment with capability for future expansion and installed. The new system shall be as energy efficient as possible while not reducing the effectiveness of the required design. Project is located within the West Palm Beach VAMC, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410.
