PROJECT TITLE: Design Build (DB) Install Additional Pump on OR Chilled Water Loop, PROJ 548-23-122 CONTRACT TYPE: Design Build (DB), Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary for the following work: Install new pump on existing OR chilled water loop. The pump will match existing and will be installed in parallel with the two (2) existing pumps. Pumping capacity will be designed to carry full load. Control configuration will allow either of the three (3) pumps to act as the primary. Install new Eaton VFD for the new pump. The new VFD will match existing and will be located adjacent to the (2) existing pump VFDs. New VFD to have manual disconnect. The power feed to the two (2) existing pumps will be rewired by the contractor so that the pumps are not on the same electrical panel. New DDC controls with BACNET communication. Contractor shall use our installed BACnet compatible building automation system (BAS) for this project. Contractor shall provide all engineering and technical assistance required for integration into BAS. All devices installed shall be BACnet tested and approved and work seamlessly with existing BAS. Project is located within the West Palm Beach VAMC, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410.
