The VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), 10 Casia St, San Juan, PR 00921, has a requirement for Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Services. Services will consist of the pick-up of pharmaceutical substances, as well as their destruction or disposition. These services are needed at the main VACHS facility, located in San Juan, PR, as well as the Ponce Out-Patient Clinic (POPC) and Mayaguez Out-Patient Clinic (MOPC). These collection services will be procured on a long-term basis and will consist of one (1) quarterly pick-up per facility, for a total of twelve (12) pick-ups per year. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562119 (Other Waste Collection), and the Product Service Code (PSC) is Q702 (Technical Medical Support). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation. In order to be found capable of fulfilling the Government s requirement, interested parties must demonstrate that they possess the following: Active registration as a Reverse Distributor with the Department of US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Active registration as a Reverse Distributor with the PR Department of Health Active registration as a Controlled Substance Reverse Distributor with the PR Department of Health Interest/capability statements shall be submitted to Wilfredo Perez via e-mail at wilfredo.perez3@va.gov by September 13, 2023 at 3:00PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST).
