Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC) Mobile Medical Unit (MMU). The vehicle is a Farber 2020 Specialty Vehicle (See Picture 1) in accordace with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Location: Orlando VA Medical Center located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only (not a pre-solicitation notices under FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote, or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For this acquisition, the NAICS code is 811111 - General Automotive Repair, and the small business size standard is $9.0 Million is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services under FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor to conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of the vehicle, generator, AC Unit and septic tank.
