This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 08- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing BRAND NAME OR EQUAL for a Bandit Industries Inc. Tracked Stump Grinder SG-40 at a firm fixed price for C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33744. This tracked stump grinder will be used to for routine landscaping and clearing projects around the hospital campus. See attached Draft Salient Characteristics. The anticipated PSC code is 3750. The anticipated NAICS code is 333120.
