The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Bitscopic Inc., of Palo Alto, CA to acquire PraediGene Precision Oncology Module to provide expanded capabilities to existing PraediGene system for precision oncology capabilities. in support of the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL. This is a non-personnel service contract for health informatics and reporting for next generation sequencing results from solid tumor and heme/myeloid specimen testing. The service will include interpretation of identified genetic variants discovered in patient specimens selected for next generation sequencing that is compiled within a clinical report that will provided to ordering clinicians. Within the interpretation of the genetic variants, treatment recommendations that include FDA approved therapies as well as suitable clinical trials associated with classified variants in patient tumor type will be included the clinical report. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced Task Order against Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) GS-35F-362CA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), only one responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210 Software Licenses, with a small business size standard of $40,000,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to provide precision oncology capabilities, to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement, show experience providing health informatics and reporting for next generation sequencing results specimen testing expanded capabilities to the PraediGene system. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Bitscopic Inc.
