DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Malcom Randall VAMC, 1601 SW Archer Rd Gainesville, FL 32068, intends to award on a Sole Source basis a maintenance contract for the 7T-Pre-Clinical Rodent MRI Service. The proposed source is MR Solutions Inc., Acton, MA. This contract is to provide (1) annual onsite preventative maintenance visit as well as a service plan to include parts, labor, tech support, phone, and email support for a 7T Preclinical (rodent) MRI system, model# MRS 7017 serial# BT7.0/160/1.0/1024/15 located at the NF/SG VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Also includes MR Solutions software updates (third party software is not included). Cost of parts (including gradient coils and motorized bed for PET/MR configuration), labor, and all associated travel for applicable coverage will be included in this contract (excluding magnet). Cold Head and Compressor service maintenance is recommended every 18 to 24 months max, includes service, spare parts and repairs for the cold head and compressor and travel and accommodations. TERMS: 1. The projected Period of Performance of the contract is for 1 Base Year with 4 annual option years. LICENSE AND ACCREDITATION 1. Services shall be performed by manufacturer trained service engineers who have technical expertise and who are familiar with all aspects of Preclinical MR Solutions 7T MRI, Model# MRS 7017 equipment. The service engineer will work on site as needed. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 334510 is applicable to this acquisition.
