STATEMENT OF NEED GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Mental Health and Domiciliary has executed a new lease/build that will consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8541 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, has a requirement for dining chairs and police chairs. Dining chairs will be used in the dining room area and police chair will be used in the police secured area. BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic has a requirement for dining chairs and police chairs. PURPOSE: Dining chairs will be utilized in the dining areas within mental health clinic. Police chairs is required for law enforcement officers to accommodate police belts and uniform within police secured area in the clinic. SCOPE: JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic is requesting contractors provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the government.
