NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD NC08 contracting representing C.W. Bill Young Veterans Administration Medical Center intends to negotiate with Pulmonx Corp. on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This sole source is for a pulmonary assessment system that will predict likely responders to the placement of a valve for the treatment of emphysema. It must provide precise flow and pressure readings for specific lobes in the lung to assess absence of collateral ventilation. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to michael.shook@va.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at michael.shook@va.gov no later than 08 31, 2023 at 10:00 Am EDT.
