STATEMENT OF NEED VITAL SIGNS MONITORS GENERAL: This request is for new vital signs monitor supplies for our newly constructed leased consolidation project at James A Haley VA Hospital, Ambulatory Clinic located at 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd. Tampa, FL 33216, trailer 81 Foxtrot and trailer 83 Golf BACKGROUND: Ambulatory Clinic at James A Haley VA Hospital wall-mounted vital sign equipment has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced for the diagnostic and treatment equipment. SCOPE: The vital signs monitors will be utilized in Foxtrot and Golf ambulatory clinic to check patients vital signs. This will replace the older end-of-life cycle equipment with a newer model of the Welch Allyn system currently used in other hospital areas. The VA has an approved Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) security agreement with Welch Allyn Connex system on file dated May 9th, 2018. This request is for brand-name-only new units connecting and integrating with Connex Clinical Surveillance System (CCSS) Connex Server Application Software (CSAS).
