Downs Blvd requires wheelchairs/transport chairs. The patient transport chair will support the patient throughout the New Bed Tower. BACKGROUND: The JAHVH New Bed Tower Acute Care Services requires a patient transport chair. PURPOSE: The patient transport chair/wheelchair is used to assist and support patient that comes through the building. It is crucial equipment for delivering patient care for the Acute Care Services. This is a name-brand or equal requirement. All items that are equal must meet or exceed the physical characteristics listed below. SCOPE: JAHVH New Bed Tower Bldg. 100 is requesting for patient transport chair.
