STATEMENT OF NEED GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Mental Health and Domiciliary has executed a new lease/build to consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8541 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, which requires vital sign monitors. Vital sign monitors will be used in the exam room within the mental health clinic. BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic requires vital sign monitors. PURPOSE: Vital sign monitor measures basic physiologic parameters (vitals) such as noninvasive blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse rate, and temperature. It is crucial equipment for delivering patient care for the Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic. SCOPE: JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic request contractors to provide a brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the government.
