Please submit all questions to Marcus.Lewis2@va.gov NLT April 3, 2023. STATEMENT OF NEED Programmable Procedure Chairs GENERAL: Dermatology Clinic, Medical Service, James A Haley Veterans Administration Medical Center, 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612. Replacement of programmable procedural chairs, which are at the end-of-life cycle and need to be replaced. BACKGROUND: The JAHVA Medical Center requires the replacement of the end-of-life cycle of treatment equipment. Procuring this equipment is required to replace existing equipment that has reached its life expectancy. SCOPE: The procedural chairs will be utilized in the Dermatology Clinic for routine and emergent exams completed by local providers. Since the systems requested are currently being used and are approved for use in the existing spaces at James A. Haley Medical Center, this is a Brand Name Only request. This ensures continuity of care enterprise-wide, no need to stock consumable supplies that are not currently being used, and no requirement for additional clinical staff and maintenance staff training. The existing procedural chairs must be removed after the installation of the new procedural chairs.
