The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) is conducting market research pursuant to FAR Part 10 to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to remove and dispose of radioactive waste stream. This notice is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, it s only for information and planning purposes only, therefore it shall not be construed as a commitment by NCO 8 to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict NCO 8 to an acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All information received in response to this notice that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The anticipated Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562221 Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal is $150 Employees.
