Can the Plumbing Supervisor please confirm these are the locations that require VA1061 Remote Monitoring Panels, of 9 total instead of 8. Blue Heron Water Main (Cold Only) Military Trail Water Main (Cold Only) Domiciliary (Cold Only) Fisher House (Cold Only) Hospice (In AHU Room) (Hot & Cold) Main Hospital 9th Floor (Hot & Cold) Main Hospital (Old AC Shop) (Cold Only) Main Hospital (Old Incinerator Room) (Hot Only) Elevated Water Storage Tank Tower (Cold Only) At the fisher house location, the existing water monitoring shed does not have enough space to safely house the new monochloramine system. Will the VA be providing an additional outdoor shed/structure to house the equipment and concrete slab? Or will that responsibility be on the awarded bidder? If so, will the contracting officer be adding this as an additional line item to the bid or should that cost be rolled into our monthly fee? If the contractor is required to build/install a new structure what are the VA requirements for the new structure on site if any? (Do we need to submit engineering drawings for approval by the VA?) At the time of award will the VA be able to provide the current Department of Health (DOH) permit numbers so that the additional units can be added to the existing permit? Or will the VA require a whole new permit to be applied for? What is the current regulator testing schedule/inspection tests by the local DOH, if any? Thank you for your attention. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to release Solicitation 36C248-23-Q-0572 for secondary domestic water treatment equipment-and monitoring of domestic water Services located at VAMC West Palm Beach. The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center 7305 N. Military Trail, Riviera Beach, FL 33410, has a requirement for these services as the current contract ended back in 2022. This service contract is to provide all labor, tools, material, and leased special equipment necessary for a contractor to install secondary disinfection system with Mono-Chloramine generators for the domestic hot and cold-water systems, to perform system surveillance, period testing, lab analysis, recalibration, responsible for obtaining operating permits from Florida Department of Environmental Protection per Florida Administrative Code (FAC) 62-4.050(4) and required preventive maintenance to secondary disinfection system and equipment listed in this SOW. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which is to be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about February 22, 2023.
