The Sterile Processing Service at James A Haley VAMC, located at 13000 Bruce Downs Blvd. Tampa, FL 33612 and Sterile Processing, at the Primary Care Annex located at 13515 Lake Terrace Lane Tampa, FL 33612.Service Repair is seeking a vendor to perform surgical, dental, and clinical instrumentation, surgical case cart repair and annual steam autoclave chamber cleaning. There is large inventory of surgical, dental, and clinical instrumentation that requires repair and sharpening due to the wear and tear imposed on them from daily operations. All instrumentation needs to be repaired by trained personnel. The Sterile Processing Service at James A Haley VA is a 24/7 department servicing the facility s Eleven (11) Operating Rooms, Three (3) Cath Labs and numerous specialty clinic procedure rooms. Sterile Processing at the Primary Care Annex services thirty-three (33) dental treatment rooms. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, documentation, and parts required for the repair of the surgical instrumentation. The contractor shall provide Preventive Maintenance and as needed repairs. This will consist of, but not limited to, aligning, calibrating, refurbishing, cleaning, stain removal, polishing, sharpening, oiling, straightening, adjusting, replacing parts, removing adhesive tape. Also required is on-site mobile repair laboratory, documentation and Inspection, cleaning chamber of Steam Autoclave, repair of Surgical case carts, and provide education and training to Sterile Processing staff. This contract shall cover the base year, plus four (4) one year option years in accordance with all term s conditions, provisions, and schedules, and specifications.
