Replace Emergency Generators and Paralleling Gear INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is seeking capability statements specifically from Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), as well as any other Small OR Large business construction contractors for the purpose of determining if adequate competition exists to set aside a requirement to Replace Emergency Generators and Paralleling Gear at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. The Government reserves the right to consider a SDVOSB, VOSB, or any other Small Business set-aside based on the responses hereto. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors with a size standard of $39.5 million. Estimated solicitation release date for this requirement is late-February to early March 2023, with a project period of performance TBD. Estimated award amount is anticipated to between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. (Subject to adjustment). SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials, and perform work to replace emergency generators and paralleling gear at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida, as required by drawings and specifications. CAPABILITY STATEMENT It is requested that interested small business firms having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed all aspects of the effort described herein, submit to the contracting office a capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. The capabilities statement must consist of a: 1 page cover sheet referencing Source Sought Notice 36C248-23-Q-0562, Capability Statement - Replace Emergency Generators and Paralleling Gear . And: Company Name, SAM.Gov Unique Entity ID, Address, Description of Principal Business Activity, Primary Point of Contact (E-mail address and phone number). Specifically state the type of small business; i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Disadvantaged Business, Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, etc and that your firm is a small business IAW NAICS Code 236220. All SDVOSB and VOSB shall provide verification that they are registered in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ Experience Provide examples that shows that your firm has the capability to replace generators and paralleling gear in a hospital setting.
