The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Illumina Incorporated of San Diego, CA to provide full-maintenance service support for the MiSeqDx Sequencer, SN #M70989 in support of the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order with one base period of 12 months and four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34.0 Million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its services, as well as references from other customers using the same services to provide full-maintenance service support for the MiSeqDx Sequencer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Illumina Inc.
