It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), James A. Haley VA Medical Center, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612, is currently seeking information from any vendor with the capability to provide maintenance service to the Talyst Pharmacy Autopack System. 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools, and parts necessary to provide a full service maintenance contract including preventive maintenance, certification, repair, technical telephone support, and software enhancements of the Pharmacy equipment listed below for a base year and 4 one-year options. 3. Background: Medical equipment must be properly maintained to assure proper function and reduce equipment down-time. The listed equipment is used daily at the hospital for packaging patient medications. 4. The applicable NAICS for this service is: 561910-Packing and Labeling Services (SB Size Standards: $30 Mil). 5. All interested and capable firms are requested to provide the following information: Contractor must provide an authorized distributor letter for service/products from the Original Equipment Manufacturer to prevent gray market items. Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S.) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Request for Information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this Request for Information does not preclude participation in future solicitations. Responses to this notice are not quotes and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract.
