DESCRIPTION: This is a Sole Source Intent to Award Notice. The NF/SG Veterans Health System maintains annual service contracts on the Shimadzu Medical Systems through CMS imaging on Radiology Imaging equipment located throughout the NF/SG Veterans Health System which includes the following sites: Malcom Randall VAMC; 1601 Archer Rd. Gainesville, FL 32608, and the Tallahassee Outpatient Clinic; 2181 Orange Ave. Tallahassee, FL 32301. This service contract is for CMS Imaging Inc. to provide annual preventative maintenance, corrective and emergency repairs on the Shimadzu Imaging equipment located in the diagnostic imaging department. This service contract is to ensure safe and reliable medical equipment while meeting all safety requirements, industry standards and regulations. This shall be completed to ensure maximum uptime with minimal impact on patient care. TERMS: 1. The projected Period of Performance of the contract is for 1 Base Year with 4 annual option years. LICENSE AND ACCREDITATION 1. The contractor shall be technically trained on the Radiology equipment and have the required levels of professional and technical experience to perform the work required by this statement of work. A certificate of Shimadzu technical training completion by the Field Service Engineer may be requested at any time during the contract. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 811210 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $30.0 million. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature to the Contracting Specialist no later than 12/19/2022 at 3:00PM EST. Responses should be sent to Jermaine.Wilson@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement will be solely up to the government.
