The questions made in response to the aforementioned solicitation, as well as the answers are as follows: 1- Question: What is the pick-up frequency of the Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) for the VA Outpatient and Rural clinics? Answer: RMW pick-ups at the VA Outpatient and Rural clinics Weekly. 2- Question: Of the RMW tonnage discarded on an annual basis, what is the estimate of pathological waste? Answer: Pathological waste generated at the VACHS main facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is approximately 200 lbs/month (1.2 ton/year). There are no further changes to this solicitation.
